Rascal The Sphynx

16 x 20 Oil on Canvas

The completed portrait of Rascal. This was a fun and very challenging painting. Rascal being a Sphynx the colors were various shades of blue, pinks, light and dark grey.

This portrait of Rascal was done for a friend that lost him after many years of love. I hope, I did him justice and captured him so he will always be a good memory for her, and brings a smile to her face.

  1. I’m so impressed!

  2. I am so humbled by this beautiful rendition of my “sweet pea” as I called him. My beloved Rascal. I am beyond words for how Jon captured his sweet soul. It’s taken me a few days to compose myself to write intellect words to describe my feelings. I’ve been truly humbled and honored that he took time out of his busy life to paint my Rascal. I loved and still love my baby boy more than anything. This cat touched my heart and soul and truly loved me back, and we had and still have a bond. My God I miss him and Jon has captured his beautiful soul. I am forever grateful and humbled by this painting. No one in my life has ever done something so gracious and thoughtful as this. Thank you Jon Krider for this beautiful painting of my baby. There are not enough words worthy enough to tell you how I feel.
